this piece is inspired by picnics in the park and the gingham print is one that is quintessentially British. The style of mark makings remind me of an Enid Blighton sketch which is a lovely nod to childhood and nostalgia.

This mug is inspired by some of my happiest childhood memories of playing in the garden. The colours and expressive marks reflect the feeling of being surrounded by nature—digging in the soil, picking flowers, and spending long days outdoors. I wanted the design to capture that sense of freedom, curiosity, and joy, creating a piece that feels warm, nostalgic, and full of personality. Every mug is a reminder to slow down, enjoy the little moments, and reconnect with those simple memories.
